Applications are invited for the role of Administrative Assistant at the Global Priorities Institute (GPI), an interdisciplinary research centre at the University of Oxford. The post is for a fixed term of 3 years from the start date.

The administrative assistant will join GPI’s operations team in providing broad general administrative support to operations and research staff working at GPI to support the smooth running of GPI’s operations and its various activities. The post holder’s line manager is the Operations Coordinator of GPI, but the successful applicant will be expected to work closely with other admin staff as well as researchers on a wide range of tasks in a complex and dynamic environment. The tasks of this role are quite varying and the postholder is required to have a willingness and flexibility to take on a broad variety of tasks.

Details

Salary: £23,715 – £27,131 pa, depending on experience (Grade 4)

Contract type: 3 years fixed term (with the opportunity of extension depending on funding availability)

Hours: Full-time (part-time considered)

Start date: As soon as possible

Location: Trajan House, Oxford (in-person, with the flexibility to work remotely a few of days a week)
